Dr. Ning Yu is the Lead Research Scientist at Netflix, leading full-stack R&D efforts in video GenAI foundation, application, and final-pixel modeling for filmmaking businesses. He has over 70 publications in top-tier AI venues and 5,700+ citations.
He holds a joint Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and the Max Planck Institute for Informatics.
He previously worked with Netflix Eyeline, Salesforce, NVIDIA, and Adobe. He is constantly dedicated to academic services, such as serving as a Lead Area Chair for top-tier AI venues.
