Tranel worked at Eye Spy Productions as a VFX Supervisor/Producer, Motion Analysis Studios as a Motion Capture Technician, Sony Pictures and The Jim Henson Company, and in post-production on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. He worked in post production on The Number 23 and at Company 3. In addition he was a Production Manager at D Spot Post for a couple of anime series for Mattel that ran on Cartoon Network.
