Presenters include:  Paul Brown, Karl Sims, Barbara Nessim, Roman Verostko, and Vibeke Sorensen.  Followed by a special Electronic Theater Screening of the Artist's Digital Art.

This second of four annual artshows will take place at 7pm PDT /10pm EST, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.  It will focus on digital art in the 1990's.

Curated by Michael J. Masucci, Joan Collins, and Victor Acevedo.

LA SIGGRAPH joins LA.Blend for a joint event showcasing the latest features of Blender V3.3 (direct Zoom link). There will be a special presentation from artists from the Khronos Group to highlight the new import/export capability of Blender with glTF models and Physically Based Rendering (PBR). The San Francisco Chapter joins forces with the Los Angeles Chapter to host a Zoom meeting for all of the leadership, volunteers, members, and want-to-be-involved people.    This **Golden State Mixer,** **Bay meets Hollywood** and the **San Francisco / Los Angeles Zoom Hour,**  is brought to you by the volunteer people who have brought you Chapter events since 1978, and plan to continue for another forty years!   Calling all interested in participating.

Gregory Elwood,  GIS Specialist II, Ventura County Fire Department, goes through the software used today to battle wildfires in California.  The software application, ArcGIS Pro, published by Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) in Redlands, California, is the designated software used by Geographic Information System Specialists (GISS) to provide maps and mapping support to the Incident Commanders and Wildland Firefighters.

On Wednesday, 8 March 2023 at 5:pm PST / 8:00pm Eastern, please join the SIGGRAPH Pioneers for another in our Pioneers of Computer Graphics series.  Dr. Bill Joel will lead an all-star panel of CGI educators in a 90-minute Zoom panel.  All SIGGRAPH Pioneers are invited to join live and participate in the chat.
