Digital Acting
Three representatives from Electronic Arts explore the techniques used to create believable, directable digital characters for next generation video games. Each presenter has a long track record working on AAA titles and are currently involved with the EALA-based team developing new intellectual property in collaboration with Steven Spielberg under the EA Games label.

In 2003, Electronic Arts Los Angeles studio merged with EA Pacific ( Irvine, CA) and Westwood Studios ( Las Vegas, NV) to form the new EALA. In January 2004, EALA relocated to a new, state of the art, custom-designed campus in the Playa Vista section of West LA.
With 500+ employees at EALA is the definitive creative destination for game development in Southern California. EALA drives innovation in game technology and design by employing a first-class creative staff of game-makers. EALA develops and produces games for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system from Sony, Xbox™ video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube™, Game Boy® Advance, the PC and well as next-generation game consoles.
