Members Only Join Zareh Gorjian of the Solar System Visualization project, and other members of the JPL computer graphics team, including several drivers of the Mars Rover, as they discuss space science, visual image processing and computer graphics technology in relation to the MSL, Juno, and Solar STEREO missions.

Space Science Visualization: Image Processing & Computer Graphic Techniques in relation to the MSL, Juno, and Solar STEREO missions.

Presentation will include a review of 3D stereo products produced by JPL for various space missions and a discussion of how real-time computer graphics are used to drive the Mars Rover.

Speakers will include Zareh Gorjian of the Solar System Visualization project and other computer graphic team members from JPL, including several drivers of the Mars Rover.

NOTES:

  • This is a MEMBERS ONLY event, so no guests allowed, but attendees may join/renew on-site for $40.00 (cash or check ONLY)
  • Valid photo ID (ie. Drivers License) will be required for entry into JPL main gate.

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM   Social Hour. Attendees can enjoy free food and tour the newly renovated JPL Museum.

Registration

All LA ACM SIGGRAPH will be admitted free of charge. New LA ACM SIGGRAPH members may join/renew on-site and pay the $40 annual membership fee (checks or cash only).
